Practical consulting for owner-led businesses

See. Solve. Soar.

We help growing businesses see what is getting in the way, solve the right problem, and build practical fixes that create room to grow.

Working with owner-led businesses across the Oklahoma City metro.

The situation

Growth leaves friction behind

Most of the businesses we meet aren't short on effort or short on opportunity. They're carrying friction that built up while they were busy growing. Work that takes three steps more than it should. Numbers that take a week to trust. Decisions that wait on one person who already has a full day.

None of it is dramatic on its own. Together it quietly costs capacity — the capacity you'd need to take on the next thing.

The hard part usually isn't fixing it. It's seeing it clearly, and knowing which fix actually matters.

How we work

Three steps, in order

Most of the value is in the first one. Skipping it is how businesses end up paying to fix the wrong thing.

01

See.

We start by understanding how the work actually runs — not how the org chart says it runs. That means time with your team, your numbers, and the steps nobody has written down.

02

Solve.

We look for the root cause rather than the symptom, then agree with you on what's worth fixing first, what can wait, and what isn't worth doing at all.

03

Soar.

We build the fix and hand it over working. The measure isn't a recommendation delivered — it's capacity you didn't have before.

What to expect

Plainspoken, and accountable to the result

Consulting has earned some of its reputation. Here is how we try not to deserve it.

  • We start with your problem, not our toolkit.
  • We tell you what we would do if it were our business — including when the honest answer is “not yet” or “not this.”
  • We are straight about tradeoffs. Every fix costs something, and you should know what before you commit to it.
  • We build things that keep working after we leave, and we explain them well enough that your team can own them.
  • Quality over speed theater. We would rather be right in three weeks than wrong in one.
Fit

Who we work with

We do our best work with owner-led businesses that have real operational friction and more opportunity than technical leverage.

  • Roughly $1M to $10M in revenue
  • Roughly 10 to 100 employees
  • An owner or small leadership team still close to the day-to-day
  • Enough complexity that how the work flows genuinely matters

Where we see this most

  • Real estate operators
  • Construction
  • Trades and specialty contractors
  • Service businesses with workflow complexity

If you are earlier than this, or you already have a strong technical team inside, we will say so — and point you somewhere more useful if we can.

Human-first strategy. AI-first execution.

Where AI actually fits

AI is how we build, not what we sell. The strategy work is human: sitting with your team, learning the business, deciding what is worth doing. That part does not get automated.

Once it is settled, AI is a real advantage in execution. It lets a small team deliver more, sooner, and for less than this kind of work used to cost. That advantage belongs to you, in the form of a shorter path from decision to working software.

We will use it where it earns its place and say so where it does not. If a clear process and a well-built spreadsheet would fix your problem, that is what we will tell you.

Who we are

Operators before consultants

Skylitic is built by serial entrepreneurs with a track record of building data and analytics businesses. We have run the kind of problems we now help with, which is mostly why we are careful about promising quick answers to them.

Alongside client work we build and ship our own software. More on that in due course.

Questions

Before you get in touch

What does a first conversation look like?

A call, about thirty minutes, no charge and no slide deck. You describe what is getting in the way; we ask questions. If we think we can help, we will say how. If we do not, we will say that instead.

Do you only work with businesses in Oklahoma City?

That is where we are focused right now. Early on, being close enough to sit in the room genuinely matters — it is hard to see how work really runs over a video call. We will consider work outside the metro case by case.

Is this an AI company?

No. We are a consulting company that uses AI well. Some engagements end in software that uses AI; plenty do not. The work is judged on whether your business moves better, not on what it was built with.

Next step

Tell us what is getting in the way

One conversation, and an honest answer about whether we are the right people to help. If we are not, we will say so early — that is worth more to you than a proposal.
